The conference is an opportunity for NZSL teachers and researchers to share their experiences, resources and ideas, to discuss developments in the field, and to network with others involved in NZSL teaching and learning. Our theme is 'Challenges in Sign Language Teaching'. We look forward seeing you this November!

Quality and Comfort Hotel Wellington is pleased to offer a discount to NZSLTA conference participants, subject to room available at the time of booking so book now. Comfort Hotel Wellington
- 114 rooms – 35 twins and 79 doubles.
- Rooms have either two single beds (twin) OR one x double bed (doubles).
- All with private bathrooms (showers only), television, phone, ironing, hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities.
- Rooms are small (15 sq m) but are clean and tidy.
Quality Hotel Wellington
- Opened Nov 2008.
- 62 spacious, contemporary and well appointed rooms (38 sq m) equipped with a small kitchenette with microwave, hotplates, toaster to allow the Quality hotel guest to feel right at home.
- Work desk, ample storage, high speed internet access, some rooms with baths and generally rooms all with two queen beds.
- Quality Hotel guests can also enjoy the luxury of the heated indoor swimming pool and spa, roof top sun terrace and fitness room.
Conference Special Rates
- Internet: With all our rooms rates 20 Mb of internet is included free daily. Thereafter 10c per megabyte.
- Parking: $15 daily subject to availability on site. If our covered parking is full we can issue coupons to nearby car park building at same price.
- The two hotels have a shared bar, restaurant, car parking and spacious lobby area with reception/lobby located between the two hotels.
- Open daily for breakfast buffet and evening dining. Lunches from our all day café!

Subject to availability Wellywood Backpackers could accommodate your group in the following rooms:
- Dorm Room/s (sleep 4, 6, 10 and 12 people) with shared facilities @ $23 per bed per night.
- Single Room/s with shared facilities @ $45 per room per night.
- Standard Double/Twin Room/s with shared facilities @ $65 per room per night.
- Standard Double/Twin Ensuite Room/s @ $75 per room per night.
- Premium Double/Twin Ensuite Room/s @ $90 per room per night.

Payment
To secure a booking, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required 30 days from of placing a booking date and the remaining balance is to be paid at least 7 days prior to your check-in date. Late or non-payment of the account will result in the booking being cancelled.
Cancellation and Amendment Policy
Refund(s) less the deposit will apply to cancellations/amendments received no less than 7 days prior to scheduled check-in date. Amendments or cancellations received within 7 days of your check-in date are non-refundable.
